Biography
Katrina
Katrina is a 7 year old with tremendous energy and love for life. She has a passion for singing and writing songs. Katrina also enjoys playing soccer where she recently became her teams goalie and has done a great job defending against her opponent. Katrina has an ability to light up a room when ever she is around. She continues to excel in school with all As over the past year. She enjoys swimming, roller skating, and biking with friends. Katrina is so excited to be a sunshine princess and have Cassie as her mentor. Because her intense love for all animals and her natural ability in science a career in either Veterinary Medicine or Marine Biology is imminent
Shelby is an 11 year old ambitious, and bright young lady with a passion for dancing. Her favorite dance styles are tap and modern. Most recently, she performed a lyrical dance routine, choreographed by Cassie. Shelby has recently discovered a new fondness for mountain-biking with her father. The thrill of speed and some danger coupled with the great outdoors has been a magnetic draw for her. While not other wise engaged in physical activities, Shelby enjoys spending time with her friends, and scheming elaborate sleep-overs. As with any other pre-teen, when not in close proximity to her friends, she loves to stay in touch via text messaging and Internet socializing. She loves being involved in the Miss Florida Sunshine Program and having Cassie as her mentor. Few things excite her as much as finding out that "Cassie is coming over!" Cassie has been an incredible mentor, inspiration and friend. Shelby hopes one day to win Miss America.
