This new tab was brought on by many emails and requests to keep those of you who are unable to attend Miss Florida in the loop. Please remember to tune into CBS on July 10th at 7pm for the final competition.
I leave tomorrow July 3rd, for Miss Florida in St. Petersburg Florida. Here I will post pictures and tell you about how it is going over there. I have prepared to my fullest and will try my best in hopes of capturing my dream job and the opportunity to compete in Miss America.
JULY 3RD
Wow, what a day! I have finally made it to a hotel after quick errands and touch ups. Im here in St. Pete with my mom for a restful night before I check in and apply for my dream job tomorrow. I can hardly contain myself! I check in at 8 am tommorrow, so check back every night for some giggles and pictures!!
JULY 4TH
Happy 4th of July! I hope everyone had a blast and is continuing to be cautious and safe as they celebrate. I checked in to the Hilton today with the 45 other competitors for Miss Florida. It feels so great to be working with such wonderful, talented women this whole week. Im in a great place right now and just so excited to get started!! Today we shot video for the pageant that will be televised on July 10th on CBS at 7 o'clock. Then we made our way to the pier for the 4th of July celebration and were announced to the surrounding viewers. After that we had a fantastic first night dinner, one of my favorite foods... Pizza, a big thank you to Mary Dymtrow for donating it to us hungry girls! What a day! Tomorrow will be filled with rehersal and my interview. JULY 5TH
What a day! This morning I went straight to rehersal to learn the opening number, it is going to be FIERCE! Each year I never think it will get better... but it does! Shea and Tommy have out did themselves and allow each girl to shine! I don't want to give too much away, so ill stop there. :) After the rehersal I was released for lunch and then had my interview. What a quick witted, amazing panel of judges. They have a tough job ahead of them. The interview was the most fun I have ever had in an interview room and wish it was much longer then 10 mins! After unwinding and making a few quick phone calls, I was put back into the rehersal room and let me tell you we got worked! I even got a silly band from Shea as an energy to keep powering me through... I will wear it the whole week and go with it. It reminds me to work for what you want. Until tomorrow, sleep tight!
JULY 6TH
Today was such a great day! We dropped our things off at the Mahaffee theater after that we went straight to rehersal and then we were whisked off to the Tampa Rays game! What an amazing experience, Racheal threw the first pitch, then we were all introduced, we signed auotographs and even sang "Take me Out to the Ball Game" on Fox TV! Its early to bed tonight because tomorrow is the first night of stage competition... I am so excited! Enjoy the pictures!

JULY 7TH
What an amazing day! Today we had the opportunity to go to the Lowary Zoo of Tampa, it is a nonprofit organization and it is absolutely beautiful! While there we saw a gator a few monkeys and even got hands on as we pulled weeds and racked leaves, it was actually alot of fun! Then it was back to rehersal and then first night of prelims! I had an absolute blast and just lived it up on stage.. what a rush! Tonight I had onstage question and evening gown, I had a wonderful time! I would like to congratulate Jackie, Diana and Stephanie on their prelim awards, they were well deserved. Well tomorrow is another long day. So im off to exercise, shower and then fall into a coma hahah!
JULY 9TH
Well Prelims ar over, I had such a great time in swimsuit today and felt like a million bucks! I
Have done everything I could and competed with my heart and to my absolute fullest. I couldn't have asked for anything more and Im now leaving it all in god's hands. Whatever happens, happens. We did have a beautiful luncheon today hosted by lavoice and Ann Marie, everything ws suo beautiful they truly treated us like queens.After prelims we had a pajama princess party with our princesses, it was so much fun! And the pizza was AMAZING, well im off to bed tomorrow is a big tday.
